The Red Line is a Netflix film that unflinchingly exposes the real-world operations of scam gangs and call centres, presenting the story through the victims’ perspective in a way that feels both gripping and unsettling.

From its poster, teaser, and title alone, the film builds immediate intrigue. This latest work from director Sittisiri Mongkolsiri and producer–co-writer Kongdej Jaturanrasamee—the creative team behind HUNGER—places the emotional weight squarely on those deceived by scammers, while authorities prove unable to intervene effectively. At its core, the film not only reflects the harsh reality faced by victims but also invites viewers to consider a more complex moral question: what if some of those working within scam operations are themselves victims of deception?

The narrative follows three ordinary women whose lives unravel after falling prey to a call centre syndicate. Orn (Nittha Jirayungyurn), is a former marketing professional who leaves her career to become a housewife, only to lose a substantial sum of money to fraud. Fai (Esther Supreeleela), a physiotherapist, is tricked out of her hard-earned savings intended for a condominium. Meanwhile, Waewwao (Chutima Maholakul), an online seller, watches helplessly as her grandmother is stripped of a lifetime’s savings.

When legal avenues fail to bring justice, the three women take matters into their own hands. They band together to track down Ood (Todsapol Maisuk), the elusive leader of the call centre ring. Along the way, they enlist the help of OJ (Tonhon Tantivejakul), a skilled hacker, whose expertise becomes crucial to their pursuit.

Blending drama with psychological tension, The Red Line examines a threat that feels alarmingly close to home, shedding light on the human cost behind digital fraud. The film premieres exclusively on Netflix on 26 March 2026.
