If life feels overwhelming and heavy, Be My Angel The Series invites you to pause, breathe and let your heart soften. This sapphic (GL: Girls’ Love) series from PENNYY STUDIO blends gentle fantasy with emotional warmth, following the story of a young woman and an angel who cross paths through the Lucky Points application — and gradually discover what it truly means to have someone by your side.

The series unfolds in a whimsical world where users collect merit points via the Lucky Points app and redeem them for rewards once they reach a certain threshold. Jane (played by Baipor Thitiya Jirapornsilp), a determined young woman chasing her dreams despite her modest points tally, accidentally redeems Angel Z (played by Bambam Niwirin Limkangwalmongkol) without quite realising it.
What makes the narrative compelling is that Z possesses neither memory nor divine powers. Jane sets out to uncover who Z once was, hoping to understand what she might be capable of. Yet the search proves more complicated than expected: no one Jane introduces to Z can see her true face. Each person perceives her differently — always indistinct, never quite clear. Jane must therefore change course, shifting from searching for someone who remembers Z to finding someone Z herself remembers.
What Jane does not realise, however, is that uncovering an angel’s past violates heavenly law — and breaking that law may carry unforeseen consequences.
As the story unfolds at an unhurried, deliberate pace, Jane and Z’s relationship deepens almost imperceptibly. What begins as two parallel lines that seem destined never to meet gradually forms a puzzle that fits together with quiet precision. Both characters carry flaws and imperfections — at times frustrating, at others unexpectedly endearing. The series suggests that when we seek to understand and accept one another’s shortcomings, we grow stronger together.

Another reason to fall for Be My Angel lies in its gentle, restorative tone. It offers easy viewing without sacrificing emotional resonance, leaving behind a lasting warmth. From its light, airy colour palette to the effortless charm Baipor and Bambam bring to their roles, the series balances sweetness with subtle humour, inviting smiles and soft laughter throughout. In doing so, Be My Angel The Series becomes a tender embrace — the kind of series that comforts quietly on weary days.
The eight-episode series streams every Friday at 8.00pm via iQIYI (iQ.com), with an uncut version available on the iQIYI app. It premiered on 30 January 2026.
