Calvin Klein designer Raf Simons made a splash in the fashion world once again, becoming the second designer ever to win both the womenswear and menswear categories at the annual Council of Fashion Designers of America awards, which took place earlier this week. The only other person to have achieved this rare honour is Calvin Klein himself. Simons has now joined the exclusive ranks of fashion icons who have won both awards during their careers, including Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren and Marc Jacobs. 

Shocking the industry when he left Dior in 2016, Simons impressed the fashion world with his debut collection at Calvin Klein. With these prestigious accolades behind him, after less than a year at the fashion house, the only question seems to be what the trailblazer will do next.
