Bid farewell to 2021 and greet the new year with some great food and plenty of champagne at these celebrations

Ring in the New Year in style this December 31 at some of Hong Kong’s hottest parties and restaurants. This year, some of our city’s celebrations are taking on a 70s disco vibe, so dust off the bell-bottom trousers and platform shoes and get into the groove. Here are our not-to-miss picks.

LPM Restaurant and Bar

Mains feature grilled Black Onyx sirloin steak marinated with garlic and rosemary and paired with mini girolle mushrooms and grilled pink sea bream seasoned with salt and pepper. Do not miss trying one or two of the special Jean Cocteau cocktails that celebrate this French 1920s writer and bon vivant, such as the Eugene, a combination of Hennessy VSOP, Mancino Rosso, Ferrand dry curacao with sandalwood for warmth and salted prunes for sweetness.
