Move over Los Angeles, there’s a new City of Angels, and it’s just two hours away from Hong Kong.

For the first time ever, The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is being filmed in Shanghai. Easily the world’s most famous catwalk event, it’s more than just fashion. The show, which was seen in 190 countries by over 1.4 billion people last year— that’s four times the population of the United States, by the way- combines fashion, fantasy and entertainment to create a spectacle like nothing else. It will also include pink carpet interviews, model profiles, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show and musical performances. In the past, they’ve had Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, The Weeknd, Rihanna and Taylor Swift perform. We expect the 2017 lineup to be announced in early November, and we’ve got our finger’s crossed for Charli XCX or Rita Ora. 

Returning favourites Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell, Taylor Hill, and a few new faces, will be walking in the show, which will air in December.
