Get ready for Gosha x Burberry’s second capsule collection this season. Earlier this January, Russian streetwear designer Gosha Rubchinsky had his first collaboration with Burberry. The sportswear-inspired designer revamped classic Burberry stables, giving it more of an edgy and trendy personality. Last season’s capsule was inspired by British football and Russian rave aesthetics as well as its youth culture. It included key items such as a bomber jacket with Burberry’s classic beige plaid and a colour-blocked trench coat. In this season’s capsule, Gosha has designed a 13-piece limited-edition capsule collection to celebrate Burberry’s iconic outerwear and the Burberry check. 

Growing up in Russia, Fashion Designer Gosha Rubchinskiy has taken most of his inspiration from the youth culture there. He initially started out in fashion by taking pictures of his friends and assisting other fashion designers, before deciding to create his own brand.

His collaboration with Burberry for their AW18 menswear collection gives us a modern interpretation of Burberry’s classic trench coat as well as  oversized duffle coats in dark green, check and claret. The capsule also includes beechwood goggles, flannel shirts with large and small-scaled checks and a reconstructed trench coat with a double-buckle belt. Accessories include cashmere scarves with a playful touch of contrast checks on both sides, as well as check flannel bucket hats and leather loafers. 

Set to drop on July 7 2018, this is one of Burberry’s most highly-anticipated releases so you have to act quick if you want to snap up pieces from the collection. The collection is also available at the Burberry flagship store at Hong Kong’s Pacific Place.
