Collars have made some serious statements this season, from outerwear (Ami’s aviator jackets come with neck wings large enough for take-off, while they come sharp and dart-like at Prada) to eveningwear and even everyday shirting. In short: if your shirt, jacket or coat has collars, make ’em loud.

The tiny handbag trend we’ve seen – and loved – has passed. Totes were offered the supersize treatment this season. Champions of this trend included Loewe with its Puzzle Fold XL convertible leather tote, and Ferragamo, whose Hobo shoulder bag was displayed in epic proportions. Keep the rest of your ensemble simple to style.
