Prominent high jumper Cecilia Yeung made headlines in April 2017 by setting the women’s high jump record at 1.88 meters during the Asia Grand Prix in Taiwan. That same year, she secured a silver medal at the Asian Championships, further establishing her as a leading athlete in the region. Other accolades include: Asian Indoor Games 2017 Bronze Medalist, World Universiade 2017 finalist, All China Games 2017 the 5th Place, Asian Games 2018 the 5th Place, and Asian Athletics Championships 2019 the 5th Place. In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Yeung has gained recognition in the fashion industry, becoming the face of several campaigns for brands like Nike and Estée Lauder. She has also been featured in various magazines. While she enjoys the modelling opportunities and the visibility it brings, Yeung remains focused on her primary goal of being acknowledged for her sports achievements. Her inspirational inspiration landed her a speaker slot at the TEDxHSUHK 2021. Since her injury two years ago, Yeung has been focused on recovery but that doesn’t mean she was idle. She is the founder of Aim Higher Club, a fashion brand that focuses on community and well-being. She consistently sets ambitious targets for herself, reflecting her dedication as a professional high jumper.
