A €26,000 wellness programme at a Dior retreat in France

Luxury fashion house Dior has introduced a four-day wellness retreat at the renowned Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, blending high-end spa treatments with holistic health practices for an unparalleled rejuvenation experience – coupled with a hefty price tag
Luxury fashion house Dior has dipped its toes into the world of wellness retreats, launching its first-ever getaway at the picturesque Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc on the French Riviera.
This four-day escape isn’t just about pampering; it’s a full-on mind, body, and soul experience that builds on Dior’s existing spa treatments and skincare range. At least this is what is being advertised to justify a hefty price tag. The big question is: Is it worth it?
Picture this: You’re lounging by the Mediterranean, sipping on a green juice, while world-class experts guide you through a personalised wellness journey. It’s like a fancy summer camp for grown-ups, but with a lot more luxury.

The retreat brings together an impressive roster of wellness gurus, including Bryony Deery, a pilates whiz, and Rose Ferguson, a nutritionist dubbed the “Queen of Reset.” They’ll be on hand to help guests fine-tune their movement, eating habits, and mindfulness practices.
The Dior wellness programme will occur over four days from October 14 to 17, 2024 with four customised signature treatments and individual consultations on offer with Rose Ferguson and Bryony Deery. If you are travelling as a group, sessions are available to promote breathwork, mindfulness meditation, stretching and pilates.
And all of this can be had for €26,000 per person.
What’s particularly clever about this retreat is how it taps into the natural beauty of its surroundings. The programme draws inspiration from the rock, sea, garden, and sun of the Côte d’Azur, blending indoor and outdoor activities to make the most of the stunning location.
This move by Dior reflects a broader trend in the luxury world, where brands are branching out beyond their traditional offerings. It seems that in 2024, wellness is the new black, with the global wellness economy expected to hit a whopping US$6 trillion this year.
Dior isn’t new to the wellness game, having already launched a spa cruise on the Seine in Paris and a beauty retreat in Shanghai. But this latest venture takes things to a whole new level, suggesting that for luxury brands, wellness might just be the ultimate status symbol.
As fashion, beauty and wellness continue to merge, Dior’s wellness retreat could set a new standard for luxury experiences. Will we see Gucci meditation retreats or Chanel fitness boot camps next? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure – the world of high-end fashion is stretching far beyond the catwalk.
