As the 2026 Formula 1 season roars to life this weekend, attention isn’t only on the grid. Ferrari star Charles Leclerc has just announced his marriage to his fiancée, Alexandra Saint Mleux – now also known as Alexandra Leclerc – a reveal that has fans just as captivated as the racing itself. A familiar face in the paddock over the past two seasons, she has steadily built her own identity beyond race weekends. From her art history credentials to fashion collaborations and philanthropy, here are five things to know about Alexandra Leclerc

She was first publicly linked to Charles in 2023

Alexandra Saint Mleux was first publicly linked to Charles Leclerc during Paris Fashion Week in early 2023, when she appeared in the background of a TikTok video featuring the Ferrari driver. Not long after, she attended the Monaco Grand Prix as a guest of Ferrari, and Charles later confirmed he was in a relationship. Their first clear public appearance came at Wimbledon in July 2023, where they were spotted courtside alongside fellow Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly and his girlfriend, Francisca “Kika” Gomes.

She kept a low profile at first

Despite dating one of Formula 1’s biggest stars, Alexandra stayed remarkably private in the early stages of their relationship. Her main Instagram account remained private until June 2024 and had fewer than 1,000 followers, while only her art-focused page was public. As she became a regular presence at race weekends and fan pages dedicated to her style began circulating online, she eventually made her account public. Since then, her following has surged past 3 million, making her currently the most-followed Formula 1 partner on Instagram.

She has a strong background in art

Born in Italy and raised in Monaco to an Argentinian father and Mexican mother, Alexandra has an international upbringing that reflects in her interests. She studied 20th-century Art History at the prestigious École du Louvre in Paris and speaks Italian, English and French fluently. After graduating, she worked with Monaco’s Hôtel Des Ventes auction house and supported Monaco Art Week. Her dedicated art Instagram account feels more like a curated digital gallery, showcasing museum visits and thoughtful reflections rather than typical influencer content. She also served as an art moderator during Art Basel Week in Hong Kong, leading conversations with emerging artists.

Beauty and fashion brands have quickly embraced her

Alexandra’s understated, minimalist aesthetic has naturally attracted attention from brands. She partnered with Hailey Bieber’s beauty label Rhode, whose clean and refined identity aligns closely with her own image. In 2025, she expanded into fashion with the Viva Collection alongside Australian brand Meshki, marking her first major design collaboration. That same year, she appeared on the cover of Elle Mexico, signaling her growing presence in international fashion media beyond the Formula 1 spotlight.

She founded a charity rooted in her heritage

Beyond social media and fashion, Alexandra founded the Corazones Unidos Fund, a charitable initiative supporting children’s education and artistic development in Mexico, honoring her maternal heritage. The foundation aims to provide children with access to education, music and art, while also empowering women in the arts to share their voices. Alexandra made a statement on the fund’s official website, describing it as a long-held dream – a way to transform gratitude into action and use her platform to create meaningful impact connected to her roots.
