David Ho gives you the latest dining recommendations in Hong Kong for the month of November
La Petite Maison
La Petite Maison has a new business lunch menu, inspired by the vibrant tastes of French-Mediterranean cuisine. At the recently revamped restaurant, one can get two menu options (a starter and a main course) for HK$398 or three options at HK$498 (starter, main course and dessert, or two starters and main course). For the main course, I simply adored the pumpkin risotto, which was creamy without being overpowering and naturally oh so flavourful. My dining companion would not stop raving about the potato gratin here, so get that too. A grilled sirloin steak is available for an extra HK$178, and side dishes such as grilled escarole with chimichurri and broccolini are available for an extra HK$60. The desserts are divine, which include lemon almond cake with ice cream and a French toast with spiced ice cream. The French toast comes with an almost crème brûlée-like crunchy outer layer and is a must-try here.
Besides being the it-lunch spot in Central, LPM is also known for its drinks. The establishment will be having its inaugural Tomatini Day on November 12 to celebrate their beloved signature savory cocktail, The Tomatini. Bartenders from Savory Project, Zuma, and Bar Leone will showcase their unique Tomatini creations during an exclusive guest shift.

Tiffin, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong
Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is celebrating its 35th anniversary this month. To celebrate this sweet milestone, Tiffin will be playing host to the first-ever Fabbri gelato pop-up where nine exquisite flavours will be available for lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner for the entire month.
Meanwhile, cheese lovers should make room on their calendar on November 14 for A Grand Cheese Extravaganza with the French Cheese Masters from the famous family-owned cheesemonger company, Les Frères Marchand. Here, you can feast on one of the world's longest cheeseboards, measuring 21 metres and featuring 250 exquisite cheeses. As a special treat, #legend readers can win a pair of tickets to this event with our #giveway.

Clarence
Clarence's new head chef, Christophe Schmitt, has just launched his debut dinner set menu that emphasises French culinary traditions while incorporating local Asian terroir and seasonal ingredients. Guests can curate and customise their dinner experience for HK$698 per person. Menu items are subject to availability based on the season. Dishes that caught our eye here are starters like Hokkaido Sea Urchin, Scrambled Egg & Fennel, mains like the Yunnan Poached Egg, Spelt & Mushroom Cream, and desserts like the Hot Chocolate Moelleux & Normandy Milk Ice Cream. There is also a wine pairing option for HK$388 for two glasses or HK$688 for four glasses if you want to go hard.

90s by Ninetys
The folks behind Australian café company Ninetys have launched 90s by Ninetys, a new concept at New World Tower in Central. The ‘90s’ in the name reflects the promise that each customised bento box is prepared within 90 seconds of ordering. So if you are looking for a fast and healthy dining option, pick from the diverse assortment of tempting global dishes here, which include Italian, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese and Hong Kong favourites. The signature 90s Bentos (HK$88 each) are available from 11am to 6pm on weekdays.

The Ice Cream & Cookie Co.
Singaporean ice-cream chain The Ice Cream & Cookie Co. aka ICC has arrived in Hong Kong. Known for their delicious ice-cream sandwiches, ICC carries a wide range of flavours that are made with premium quality ingredients like coconut nectar for natural sweetness and reduced sugar content, and gut-friendly prebiotic fibre. Drawing on their Southeast Asian roots, the Onde Onde Frozen Dessert is a hit with us for its unique pandan coconut base, rich caramel swirl and chewy white mochi bits. A pleasant surprise is that the treats here are actually not overwhelmingly sweet, which makes having doubles a guilt-free experience.
