Where to eat in Hong Kong in February 2025

Feb 10, 2025

David Ho gives you the latest dining recommendations in Hong Kong for February 2025

Dans Le Noir Hong Kong

Le Meridien Hong Kong in Cyberport has collaborated with the renowned Dans Le Noir? to bring their dining in the dark phenomenon to Hong Kong. This unique restaurant experience has gained quite a cult following since 2004 and will be will open to the public three evenings a week, Thursday through Saturday from 7.15pm, from February 13. Guests will enjoy a fine-dining surprise menu with starter, main course, and dessert, with a wine/mocktail pairing option (HK$980++).

We’ve tried it and won’t ruin the surprise for you, but the food is absolutely delicious and it’s a fun experience to enjoy with some great company. In a ‘camera eats first’ culture, it’s a nice change to just tuck into the fare and enjoy a heightened sensory affair in the pitch black darkness. We also love that the dinner was served and guided by a team of visually impaired guides, which creates job opportunities for the differently abled community here. Come here with good company and this 90-minute dinner will be one to remember.
