The luxurious beachside sanctuary, Jumeirah Al Naseem, introduces a new turtle-inspired stay to commemorate 20 years of the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project

The turtles at the turtle rehabilitation facilities

On the heels of celebrating World Oceans Day last weekend, Jumeirah Al Naseem announced today a new and unique stay package that is all turtle-inspired. This comes as a 20th anniversary celebration of Jumeirah’s Dubai Turtle Rehability Project (DTRP).

Safeguarding our oceans and the vulnerable creatures whose lives and livelihoods depend on them has been a mission of the generations. After two decades of commitment, Jumeirah Al Naseem wants to highlight the wonderful effort of the staff at DTRP.

Get behind-the-scene

This new stay experience will include a range of curated encounters and a guided tour of the turtle rehabilitation facilities. Guests will start with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Aquarium at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab where rescued turtles start the journey to recovery.

The tour extends to the Turtle Rehabilitation Sanctuary at Jumeirah Al Naseem, comprising five outdoor lagoons, where resident turtles rebuild strength before being released back into the wild. Here, guests can also take part in turtle feeding.

Ocean-themed afternoon tea

To complete the experience, the hotel has introduced a brand-new ocean-themed four-hands afternoon tea concept at Al Mandhar Lounge. Marking the inaugural collaboration in an exciting new culinary series at the resort, executive pastry chef Julien Jacob has teamed up with his mentor, renowned pâtissier and chocolatier Philippe Rigollot, to craft a special menu with an emphasis on sustainably sourced, local ingredients and reduced sugar.

Additionally, guests will enjoy daily breakfast and have unlimited admission to Wild Wadi Waterpark plus access to complimentary non-motorised water sports on Jumeirah’s pristine beach and wellness facilities at Talise Spa, Talise Fitness, and J Club, as well as KiDS at Jumeirah Al Naseem for junior guests. As a special feature, curious guests will be provided with a map link that enables them to track the journeys of the turtles released as part of the project’s conservation efforts.
