A new menu is now being served aboard the Sirimahannop, featuring the finest ingredients sourced from both Thailand and Scandinavia. The concept follows the historic maritime routes once charted by Captain Hans Niels Andersen over a century ago.

Permanently moored at Asiatique The Riverfront on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, this beautifully restored three-masted sailing ship has been transformed into an elegant restaurant and bar. The restaurant offers diners a refined culinary journey, combining world-class ingredients with a spirit of adventure.

For this new chapter, the restaurant introduces a route inspired by the trade connection between Thailand and Scandinavia. The main menu is thoughtfully divided into three sections, each reflecting a key stage along the Sirimahannop’s historic voyage.

100°E BANGKOK will showcase delights that capture the essence of the Thai capital’s vibrant food scene, with signature dishes such as House-Cured Dill Salmon – a Scandinavian classic elevated with the Thai flavors of tomato, basil and pomelo, and a Steamed Seafood Pot with khao soi curry broth, pickled cabbage, cilantro, and sourdough bread.

Alternatively, 45°E AT SEA draws inspiration from the ancient mariners’ onboard meals, including slow-cooked and cured meats that could be preserved on long journeys. Highlights include Beef Short Rib with five spice-infused red wine jus, cauliflower purée, grilled king oyster mushroom, broccolini, and mushroom ketchup.

Guests seeking the light, simple elegance of Nordic cuisine can discover 9°E COPENHAGEN – a refined approach to dining with plates such as Mackerel Escabeche, enhanced with carrot, orange, ginger, saffron, and dill, or Scandinavian Calamari with Thai chili, garlic, lemon, and chunky remoulade.

Alongside its unique culinary journey, Sirimahannop is pleased to unveil seven new tapas dishes. Highlights include tender giant octopus drizzled with a Thai-inspired chimichurri sauce, and marinated anchovies served with freshly grated tomatoes—inviting diners to savour an exciting blend of flavours in every bite.

These new additions will be available daily from 1st September 2025, between 4:30 pm and 10:30 pm, with prices starting at 220++ THB. Conveniently accessible by both land and water, Sirimahannop also offers a complimentary shuttle boat from the pier adjacent to BTS Saphan Taksin station for a seamless arrival.
