La Roche‑Posay celebrated half a century of scientific skincare excellence by launching a striking exhibition, ‘Life‑Changing House Since 1975’, at Bangkok’s iconic Central Post Office, Bang Rak. The event underscores the brand’s dedication to enhancing both skin and life as it looks ahead to the next fifty years.
Having its origins back in the 14th century when the therapeutic properties of a natural spring were recognised by French medical institutions in 1887, La Roche‑Posay’s journey began at Europe’s first hydrotherapy centre for sensitive and chronic skin conditions. In 1975, French pharmacist René Levayer founded the brand, driven by a mission to harness that unique thermal spring in products for delicate skin, grounded in the belief that skin health is integral to overall wellbeing.

Over the decades, La Roche‑Posay has introduced a host of iconic, life‑changing skincare solutions:
- Effaclar – a targeted range for acne‑prone skin
- Anthelios UVMUNE 400 SPF50+ PA++++ – ultrawide UVA sunscreen
- Mela B3 Serum – addressing stubborn dark spots for a more even tone
- Cicaplast Baume B5+ – a soothing balm for sensitive or outwardly reactive skin
- Lipikar Baume AP+M – a nourishing whole‑family balm for dry, fragile skin
These pioneering products have won global acclaim, being widely recommended by dermatologists.
The exhibition was formally opened by Orawan Larpumnuayphol, General Manager at L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty (LDB) Thailand, along with key leaders including Martin Foret, Brand General Manager of L’Oréal La Roche‑Posay, Namfon Dansawan, Marketing Manager, and Pharmacist Lukkana Subshukul, Product Expert.
