This Mid-Autumn Festival, Kyo Roll En unveils an extraordinary mooncake collection crafted in collaboration with three Michelin-starred Chinese-Singaporean chefs, alongside Thailand’s own award-winning pastry chef, Chef Dej Kewkacha. Together, they bring four distinctive creations to life — a bold reinterpretation of mooncakes that blends heritage with haute cuisine. The 2025 collection marks a rare union of culinary excellence, featuring:

  • Chef Jason Tan (Euphoria, 1 Michelin star) — helms one of Singapore’s most acclaimed French fine-dining establishments, recognised in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants for ten consecutive years.
  • Chef Zor Tan (Born, 1 Michelin star) — renowned for his masterful fusion of modern French techniques with Chinese ingredients; one of the most sought-after tables in Singapore.
  • Chef LG Han (Labyrinth, 1 Michelin star) — known for redefining modern Singaporean cuisine and featured on global platforms such as Netflix.
  • Chef Dej Kewkacha (Kyo Roll En) — Thailand’s first pastry chef to receive Best Pastry Chef by La Liste (France), and most recently named Asia’s Best Pastry Chef 2025 by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants.

The chefs bring their signature flair to four mooncake flavours, each inspired by iconic dishes and ingredients:

  • Kaya Toast (by Euphoria) – A playful tribute to Singapore’s national breakfast, with rich kaya custard and a touch of savoury peanut butter.
  • Sweet Potato–Oolong Tea (by Born) – Delicately sweet Japanese sweet potato infused with fragrant Chinese oolong tea, inspired by the restaurant’s signature dessert.
  • Orh Nee (Taro) (by Labyrinth) – A refined take on the beloved Chinese dessert, with smooth taro paste, ginkgo nuts, and goji berries.
  • Yuzu Lava (by Kyo Roll En) – A perennial favourite with aromatic Japanese yuzu, designed to melt into a warm, luscious lava when served heated.

Each mooncake set is presented in a beautifully crafted bamboo-style carry box, wrapped in traditional Singaporean batik fabric, symbolising joy and friendship. The box is adorned with intricate cut-out motifs telling the story of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The set includes eight mooncakes (two of each flavour) and is priced at THB 1,688. Pre-orders are open now via www.kyorollen.com. Available for nationwide delivery or pick-up at all Kyo Roll En branches from 25 August to 12 October 2025. For more information, contact LINE: @kyorollen or call 062-226-4555.
