"...Environmental issues are significant concerns in today's society, with the majority actively trying to find solutions. Various organizations, including those in the fashion industry, are attempting to reduce waste in the best ways possible. A great example is YSL Beauty, which addresses these challenges by introducing refillable perfumes to help reduce waste and environmental impact..."

YSL Beauty believes that our world has boundaries that should not be crossed and must be preserved as the best home for humanity. This belief drives the brand's commitment to transforming its business practices to reduce environmental issues and achieve sustainability goals by the year 2030. One of these initiatives includes the launch of refillable perfumes, which can reduce glass waste by 41%, metal waste by 67%, and plastic waste by 37%.

YSL Beauty launched its first refillable perfume with "Myself" line, a men's fragrance made from bergamot and Tunisian neroli. The campaign featured talented actor Austin Butler, ambassador of  YSL Beauty. Recently, they released two more refillable perfumes, including "Y" for men, crafted by Dominique Ropion with a fresh fougère structure, and "Libre" for women with the outstanding floral notes.

Interestingly, Saint Laurent not only reduces waste from their beauty product lines but also from their fashion clothing production as well, by donating leftover fabric from manufacturing to various organisations and fashion schools, as well as collaborating with a number of organisations to bring waste textiles to life once again.
