Olympic 2024: All the elegant outfits from the opening ceremony

The opening ceremony took place in Paris last Friday, with celebrities from around the world coming to celebrate the opening event, including Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, and former world-class footballer Zinedine Zidane, among many others. Starting with the appearance of a heroine in a striking silver warrior outfit, which garnered the most attention. She rode a horse from Seine river to carry the Olympic flag and raise it to the top of the pillar at Place du Trocadéro. This impressive outfit, created by Jeanne Friot, draws the inspiration from Joan of Arc, the national heroine of France.

The world-renowned singer Celine Dion, who returned to perform at Olympic opening ceremony once again with "Hymne à l'amour" on the Eiffel Tower. She wore a sequin white dress by Dior.

Lady Gaga performed a unique cabaret show, with a stunning black feathered gown designed by Dior.

French artist Aya Nakamura wore a stunning gold dress by Dior that inspired by the brand's Fall 2024 couture collection.

Another artist, Ariana Grande, joined the Olympic ceremony to support the U.S. athletes. She wore a pastel pink dress adorned with bows, matched with gloves in the same hue, all by Thom Browne.

The national team outfits that garnered the most attention were France's, crafted by Berluti, Mongolia's, crafted by Michel & Amazonka; and the United States, created by Ralph Lauren.
