Going back to 1924, Paris had previously hosted the Olympic Games, and in 2024, the capital of France is honoured to host this grand sporting event once again. Regardless of the era, Paris always maintains its unique charm. This year's event emphasises modernity, sustainability, inclusivity, and creative design in every venue and piece of competition equipment. Whether it's the shuttlecocks for badminton, the climbing wall, the blind footballs, the handball goalposts, or the athletics track at the Stade de France, over 1.2 million sports equipment are produced under a unified design. Some pieces will feature the engraved message 'Paris 2024 Look of the Games,' making it easily recognisable and enhancing the distinctive atmosphere of the competition and training venues. Additionally, the equipment and venues will stand out with striking colours such as blue, green, purple, and pink, reflecting a contemporary style that engages audiences worldwide in this competition.

The design approach of Paris 2024 aims to create a lasting legacy by focusing on sustainability and meticulous design to ensure that the equipment and facilities remain usable long after the games have ended. The use of durable materials and the involvement of local suppliers highlight the event's commitment to environmental and economic sustainability. The sports equipment for the event will use colours that align with the theme of each venue, covering 32 Olympic sports and 22 Paralympic sports. The equipment will be distributed across 43 locations, 2 for Paralympic and 41 for Olympic.

The identity of Paris 2024 is deeply connected to France's cultural and historical landmarks. This is achieved by incorporating classic patterns, such as polka dots and stripes, inspired by Parisian street art and architectural lines of the city, creating a design that feels both familiar and modern. The distinctive Parisian presentation resonates with both the French public and audiences worldwide. By integrating these elements into the design of the equipment and venues for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the event distinguishes itself as a celebration of local heritage on a global stage.
