“…Mia, the Michelin-starred modern European restaurant, invites guests to take their dining experience to the next level with the Mia Wine Initiative, a programme that pairs each dish with the perfect wine, meticulously selected to elevate the flavours of the menu. This unique initiative allows guests to experience the seamless integration of wine and food, enhancing every bite with a perfectly matched glass…”
Mia is a modern European restaurant infused with Asian influences, founded by the renowned husband-and-wife chef duo, Chef Top-Pongchan and Chef Michelle Goh. Together, they craft a seasonal menu under ‘Taste of Mia’ concept, offering dishes that are complex in technique yet wonderfully balanced in flavour. These dishes are served in a warm, inviting two-storey townhouse that exudes both comfort and elegance.
The Mia Wine Initiative is an innovative concept that sets the restaurant apart. It reflects the philosophy of the chefs, who believe in fostering creativity and inclusivity within their team. The initiative involves everyone in the restaurant, from the chefs to the servers, in the process of selecting wines, non-alcoholic drinks, and even alcohol-free options. Every drink chosen is subject to unanimous approval, ensuring that each glass served enhances the overall dining experience.
"Not only does this programme promote professional growth, but it also strengthens the unity of our team, allowing everyone to share their preferences, knowledge, opinions, and expertise. It creates a sense of pride in each member of the team.”
Chefs Top and Michelle
The Mia Wine Initiative was born from the chefs’ dedication to creativity, diversity, and the spirit of teamwork. This exclusive wine list is the result of collective input from the entire staff, ensuring that every guest enjoys a carefully curated selection that has been thoughtfully chosen by all involved.
Mia’s blue door is open, welcoming guests to experience this elevated dining concept every Tuesday to Sunday from 5 pm to 9pm, and for weekend lunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 pm to 2 pm.
