"...Sabio, the renowned Spanish restaurant from Singapore, has officially landed in Bangkok, introducing a vibrant and authentic taste of Spain to the heart of Sukhumvit. Nestled on the 5th floor of Emsphere's EM Wonder, Sabio brings the spirited essence of Spanish culture to life through its tapas-style cuisine, where traditional recipes meet Thailand’s finest local ingredients in perfect harmony..."
Spread across a generous 160 square metres, Sabio can accommodate up to 80 guests, offering both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The interior design is a feast for the eyes, featuring an eclectic mix of iconic art installations. Among the highlights are a towering 2-metre zebra sculpture and a golden horse bowing to pick up an apple, both making a bold statement at the restaurant’s entrance. Inside, a hand-painted zebra-pattern wall serves as a striking backdrop and a favourite spot for photo enthusiasts. At the heart of the space lies an open kitchen, allowing diners an exclusive view of the chefs’ meticulous craftsmanship as they prepare each dish, adding an energetic buzz to the restaurant’s atmosphere.
Sabio’s menu is a celebration of high-quality ingredients, sourced both internationally and locally. The selection is a delightful showcase of Spanish classics, including Jamon Croquetas: A rich and creamy croquette packed with the robust flavour of ham, Razor Clams: Fresh and tender clams imported directly from Spain, Gambas: Succulent prawns with a bold, zesty seasoning, Sabio Paella: The signature dish, brimming with fresh seafood and premium farm-raised pork, delivering an authentic taste of Spain.
For those seeking something out of the ordinary, Sabio also offers unique creations like Hand Sliced Jamon Bellota, featuring expertly carved ham, and Roasted Bone Marrow topped with Hand-Cut Beef Tartar, a decadent combination of perfectly seasoned tartare served atop roasted marrow. Additionally, the restaurant surprises guests with a rotating selection of fresh seafood dishes, ensuring every visit brings a new culinary discovery.
No Spanish dining experience is complete without exceptional beverages, and Sabio excels in this arena. The restaurant elevates the classic sangria with its own signature recipe, alongside a special Bangkok-exclusive twist that incorporates Thai-inspired flavours such as ginger, lemongrass, and Thai basil. Wine enthusiasts will also delight in Sabio’s carefully curated selection of Spanish wines, offering the perfect pairing to transport diners back to memories of their most recent travels through Spain.
