Under the visionary leadership of Arnaud Chastaingt, director of Chanel’s watchmaking studio, the brand embraces the present with a captivating fusion of past aesthetics and future-forward design.
Chanel, known for its classic hallmarks like the little black dress and the iconic No.5 perfume, among other symbols of timeless elegance, firmly roots itself in the 21st century, while heritage plays a pivotal role. Its innovative spirit has resulted in striking designs such as the J12 Xray, Interstellar J12 Cybernetic, and Eclipse box sets. Showcasing a modern style that remains distinctly Chanel.
Originally launched in 1987, the Première watch features an octagonal case, inspired by the iconic stopper of the No.5 perfume bottle, paired with a chain bracelet reminiscent of the signature strap of the beloved quilted bag. In an exciting collaboration, Chastaingt has teamed up with Master & Dynamic, a renowned New York-based audio brand known for their premium headphones, to take the Première to the next level. Designed for seamless connectivity with any smartphone or audio device, the headphones include a microphone and remote control, while passive sound insulation reduces external noise for an immersive experience. The earphone wires elegantly integrate into a necklace, which can be detached when desired, allowing the piece to transform into a chic sautoir, effortlessly blending sound and style into one refined piece of jewellery.
