To promote Macau as a leading 'City of Performing Arts and Entertainment,' Galaxy Macau launched the Galaxy Arena, the largest and newest arena in Macau, last year. Designed to accommodate large-scale events, this state-of-the-art venue boasts a capacity of up to 16,000 spectators, equipped with world-class facilities and top-notch audio-visual production to deliver the best and most memorable show experiences. Additionally, visitors to this arena enjoy seamless convenience, as it is directly connected to the Andaz Macau hotel, allowing guests to effortlessly retreat to their accommodations after the show without the hassle of travel.

Throughout 2024, Galaxy Arena has become a premier entertainment destination, continuously attracting tourists from around the world to Macau. This is achieved through a series of concerts featuring globally renowned artists, including Blackpink, Jackson Wang, One Republic, and popular Thai artist Billkin Puthipong, as well as high-profile international sporting events. This time, the venue will host the 2024 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [iDOL] concert featuring the five talented members of the famous South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE. Previously, the group performed at Galaxy Arena during their 2023 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [I am FREE-TY], leaving an unforgettable impression on their fans.

During this concert, (G)I-DLE once again wowed their fans with a selection of the group's popular songs, including 'Tomboy,' 'Wife,' and 'Queen Card.' A standout moment of the show featured solo performances from all five members, particularly ‘Minnie,’ the only Thai member of the group. She captivated the audience with her rendition of 'Like a Dream,' the song from the hit Korean series 'Lovely Runner,' performing in a schoolgirl outfit while holding a signature yellow umbrella reminiscent of the show's heroine, Im-Sol. Moreover, the concert's production was nothing short of spectacular, showcasing impressive lighting, visuals, and sound that matched the grandeur of Galaxy Arena. Attendees enjoyed a 360-degree view of the performance, free from obstructions, along with a high-quality surround sound system that enhanced the overall experience.
