Now that the 91stAcademy Awards are officially over, it’s time to breakdown some of the best beauty looks on our favourite celebs.
Crazy Rich Asians star, Constance Wu, reminded us of a certain Disney Princess in her custom-made marigold yellow Atelier Versace gown. She completed her look with a chic ponytail to show off her stunning Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry diamond earrings (we don’t blame her) and perfect berry red lips using Pat McGrath’s Permagel Ultra Lip Pencil in Major red and Mattetrance Lipstick in Vendetta.
Emma Stone’s futuristic Louis Vuitton gown may have been the subject of multiple memes (apparently Twitter users were comparing the embroidered frock to various breakfast foods) but we love the fact that she #ownedit all night. To complement the rich tones on her dress, Stone’s eye makeup consisted of Sisley’s Phyto-Eye Twist in copper, Phyto-Khol Star Waterproof pencil liner in Sparkling Brown and Phyto Ombre Glow eye shadow in Amber.
Dressed in Christian Dior Haute Couture, Charlize Theron traded her signature blonde locks for a much darker and shorter ‘do at this year’s Oscars. The verdict? #welove. The actress debuted her freshly-cut chin-length bob with an array of sparkling jewels from Bulgari’s Serpenti collection. Swoon. To achieve her glowing complexion opt for the Dior Forever Skin Glow in #2N and Dior Backstage Contour Palette in #001 Universal.
Black Panther actress Letitia Wright looked ravishing on the red carpet in Cartier jewellery and a shimmery Dior Haute Couture cocktail dress. Celebrity hairstylist, Ursula Stephen, used pearl pins (in various sizes) on Wright’s classic updo to accentuate the soft tones on her outfit. Hair products she used included Dove’s Style & Care Curls Defining Mousse and Style + Care Smooth & Shine Heat Protection Spray.
