What is key to note is that Miuccia Prada appreciates the irreverent, but always maintains a sense of femininity. The slips dresses and sheer sleeveless prairie dresses represented that today. The collection felt cool and not too dressed up. Miuccia’s version of ease perhaps? Or is now a time when certain waisted constraints seem anti-feministic? Interesting that the shoes were void of big crystal stones or chunky heels. The flat sandals making terrific every day shoes. This collection begs a Converse collaboration, and Miuccia could dream up a extraordinary one.
