The past 20 years have seen amazing strides in breast cancer research, a direct result of campaigns like these, but there are still improvements to be made. Every two minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. That means every two minutes, a family is shattered, and a life is changed forever. It’s the second leading cause of cancer death among women, and the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women. It’s time to end it now, and we can do it by helping the brands that help the research.

The annual Stella McCartney Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign is back, with a little help from Alicia Keys, the child of a breast cancer survivor. This year’s campaign highlights the inequalities in access to early detection programs and awareness. Statistics have shown that African American women have a 42% higher chance of cancer mortality from Breast Cancer than Caucasian women.
