This winter, Soho House Hong Kong’s House Kitchen unveils a limited-time menu – Winter Atelier. The menu’s offerings are designed to bring a sense of ritual and warmth to the city’s cooler months

For Soho House Hong Kong’s new offerings, executive chef Krzysztof Czerwinski draws inspiration from the season itself. He blends European techniques with a modern, lighter sensibility while creating dishes built around the idea of temperature. Having honed his precision and respect for detail in Gordon Ramsay’s London kitchen, and later deepened his understanding of balance across Asian cuisines, Czerwinski crafts a winter menu that feels both comforting and refined.

A table of winter flavours

At the heart of the season is the Beef Wellington, dry-aged beef wrapped in golden, flaky pastry. When sliced open, its warm juices flow gently, paired with a rich bone marrow jus that is indulgent yet never heavy.

The Fondue for Two brings the essence of the Swiss Alps into the city. Melted cheese simmers slowly over the flame, served with rustic bread and potatoes in which a dish that invites sharing, echoing the intimacy of two people gathered by the fire, laughter mingling with the rising warmth.

The Herb Butter Roasted Turkey is a contemporary take on a festive classic. Gently roasted in aromatic herb butter, its crisp skin and tender flesh are complemented by a citrus-scented jus and seasonal vegetables, giving the traditional dish a lighter, modern interpretation.

Meanwhile, the Lobster Orzo balances richness with freshness. Sweet lobster meat entwined with silky orzo, brightened by notes of lemon and tarragon. Amid the warmth of hearty winter dishes, it offers a refreshing contrast.

Between these comforting courses, Chestnut Velouté and Spaetzle & Cheese evoke the Alpine spirit, their creamy, nutty aromas carrying a quiet hint of the mountains, rich but never cloying.

To close, the desserts whisper of indulgent winter evenings: Chocolate Fondue with its velvety richness, Christmas Sticky Pudding draped in caramel warmth, and Biscoff Basque Cheesecake, smooth and delicately sweet. Pair any of them with a Winter S’more or mulled wine, and the night concludes in perfect harmony.
