Sinner, 23, defeated Alexander Zverev in straight sets (6-3, 7-6, 6-3) in a commanding performance at Rod Laver Arena. The match lasted 2 hours and 42 minutes, with Sinner lifting the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup for the second consecutive year.
Reflecting on his victory, Sinner expressed gratitude towards his team and the Melbourne crowd. “This is the most special Grand Slam for me. The support has been incredible,” he said.

This year marked the 25th anniversary of Rod Laver Arena being renamed in honour of Australian tennis legend Rod Laver. Reflecting on the milestone, Laver said: “It’s amazing to think about the incredible matches that have been played here over the years.”
