Newly appointed CEO of Roger Dubuis Nicolas Andreatta graced the stage along with CTO of Automobili Lamborghini Maurizio Reggiani both complementing each other’s innovative partnership in contributing to the success with their shared vison. Amongst the VIP guests were CEO of Automobili Lamborghini Stefano Domelicali as well as renowned 3- time world boxing champion from Mexico Canelo Alvarez.

The Lamborghini SC18 Alston Hypercar

Excalibur One-Off

This year’s highlight is none other than the Excalibur One-Off dubbed as a Serial Innovator in hyper horology. Inspiration taken from the Lamborghini Squadra Corse and Pirelli, this Excalibur One-Off time piece is the first and only timepiece created based on the latest Lamborghini SC18 Alston hypercar developed for a VIP client who wants it for recreational use on the track. Surprisingly this car is also road legal to say the least.

Excalibur One-off

The Excalibur One-off is powered by a purpose-built RD106SQ movement, it’s the third caliber to be produced within the framework of this iconic three-way partnership. Visibly showcasing the skeletonized case with mechanical double flying tourbillon inclined at 90-degree reminiscing of the typical V-shaped Lamborghini’s engine block. The double disc jumping hour at 12 o’clock specifically designed like the shape from the Lamborghini’s signature dashboards along with the red-tipped minutes dial look as if its literally taken straight out from the Lamborghini’s speedometer. Another new feature includes a function selector at 6 o’clock which allows the wearer to choose the watch settings (W is to wind the watch and S is to set the time) at a push of a button located on the caseband at 4 o’clock.

This 47mm case is made with carbon SMC along with its flange, bridge and its woven carbon case-middle. It’s also equipped with the distinctive Pirelli’s L-branded strap with its unique large air intakes and shaped to maximize breathability and resistance. In addition, the mesh of this strap consists of nylon fibres that are exactly like those embedded in the inner structure of Pirelli tires.

Excalibur Huracán Performante

Excalibur Huracán Performante

Both Excalibur Huracán and Excalibur Huracán Performante is the second in the brand’s iconic collection to be developed for the partnership with Lamborghini Squadra Corse. Both uses the RD630 caliber offers a 12-degree angled balance wheel representing the movement signature associated with Lamborghini Squadra Corse. Visually enhanced by the honeycomb/hexagonal structures typically used in Lamborghini’s design. The difference between the two is practically the same with Excalibur Huracán being the boutique exclusive and the Excalibur Huracán Perfomante being a touch more colorful and limited to 88 pieces.
