Car brands have long associated themselves with flight and most prominently in today’s market, Lamborghini has been fitting that description the best, and in a good way. From the Reventon to the Egoista to the Aventador, it’s evident that Lamborghini has a great respect for avionics. This association is taken more directly with the unveiling of the Lamborghini Hurácan LP610-4 Avio.

The “L63” insignia pays homage to the Italian airforce by stylistically replicating the military markings of the Eurofighter Typhoon. “L63” is short for “Lamborghini” and “1963” – which is when the automaker was founded. Between the letter and numbers, in true military fashion, is an Italian cockade.

A pair of off-centre stripes run over the top of the car in either white or grey, while rocker panels, mirror caps, central chin spoiler and front quarter trim acts as accent colours in white, grey or orange.

The special edition Hurácan is limited to 250 units and is available in five new colour variants specifically developed for the Avio, featuring – Blu Grifo (matte blue), Grigio Nibbio (matte light grey), Grigio Vulcano (matte dark grey) and Verde Turbine (matte green).

All in all, the Lamborghini Hurácan LP610-4 Avio is what aviators’ dreams are made of.
