Have you ever seen the flybridge or the main deck interior of a yacht cover nearly the entire length of the boat? We didn’t think so. But Princess Yachts has boldly reimagined space and versatility with the design of their latest Princess X95 “Superfly”, providing 10% more outdoor space and 40% more indoor space than a traditional motor yacht.
Princess Yacht “X Class”
The Princess X95 “Superfly” is the first model in Princess Yachts’ “X Class”. The new product segment that works to set a new standard for flexibility in yacht layouts, defined by large, adaptable spaces that can be used and formatted in various ways. This is reflected in the Super Flybridge of the Princess X95. In total, the Super Flybridge stretches almost 22 metres, which is more than double the length of a typical flybridge on a yacht its size. Handcrafted in Plymouth, England, the X95 was conceived by Princess Yachts’ long-standing naval architect, Bernard Olesinski, in partnership with legendary Italian design house Pininfarina SpA.
In addition to its innovative spatial composition, the X95 has also made significant steps forward in hull design. The new Princess yacht is equipped with an all-new wave piercing bow that extends the waterline forward, providing a dead-rise entry that is 15% more efficient compared to a traditional hull design.

Onboard, the standard guest accommodation for up to eight can be found on the lower deck, comprising a full-beam master stateroom amidships, two twin guest cabins and a double VIP suite forward. A midnight blue exclusive to Princess Yachts anchors the X95 exterior paint scheme, alongside a custom saloon layout to accommodate all kinds of gatherings. There is also a bespoke crew accommodation space that can house up to five crew members on board, demonstrating just how multi-purposeful the X95 layout really is.
Whether on short hops or long crossings, the X95 provides its users with the ultimate onboard entertainment experience. Its sundeck features a Naim Uniti Atom audio system with waterproof speakers, while its modern Sky Lounge houses a 4K UHD TV, with electric blinds to control light levels and ensure optimum viewing experience. She also hosts a drop down projector unit with a large canvas cinema screen on the Super Flybridge for the perfect outdoor movie night.
“X95 takes spatial architecture on a yacht to a new level. With a large cockpit, rear flybridge, forward flybridge and foredeck areas, owners will have four large and unique outdoor environments on an X95. Combined with the spacious and flexible main deck space and the unique Sky Lounge, the X95 has a range of living spaces, indoor and outdoor, that dwarfs those of any other boat of its size.”
Andy Lawrence, Head of Design, Princess Yachts
The Princess X95 is powered by twin MAN V12 engines with a total of 3800hp, which give her a maximum speed in excess of 23 knots. With a fuel capacity of 13,400 litres, the X95 is built for far-reaching voyages.
