MCM has announced a collaboration with British designer Christopher Raeburn that will launch during London Collections Men. The fashion show — a grand-scale runway presentation with a digital element — is set to debut on Jun 11, 2016. 

Raeburn worked with the German luxury leather-goods label to create an innovative unisex capsule collection that prizes form with function and sustainability with style. Fusing his utilitarian aesthetics with MCM’s travel heritage, Raeburn first deconstructed MCM signatures, including the Visetos canvas, before working them into new patterns to create a modern wardrobe for the 21st century global nomad. 

“MCM is a truly iconic global brand, with exceptional future plans and it’s been extremely inspiring to collaborate and develop a collection with a truly modern, considered and sustainable approach,” says Raeburn in a released statement. “We’re living in a changing world and through a particularly interesting time for the fashion industry so I’ve nothing but respect for MCM who are truly seeking to innovate, not only in creativity, but in our thinking around and consumption of contemporary fashion.”
