How many ‘X’s’ does it take to make a great crossover? Well in the case of TUDOR watch, it takes two. David x David or why don’t we just called it D²? Oh right, there’s already a fashion brand out there with that name.
Swiss watch brand Tudor has unveiled a new chapter in its #BornToDare campaign with David Beckham, photographed and directed by renowned British fashion photographer David Sims who first made his name in the nineties with magazines such as i.D, The Face, Arena and Vogue. In fact, this is not the first time that these legendary Davids had worked together.
This campaign also comes with a series of videos with David Beckham as he reflects on all the #BornToDare moments in his life, including time spent with his grandfather, time spent on the pitch as captain of the England football team and his first TUDOR watch, a vintage model which carries with it the many adventures it’s been part of in its past.
The TUDOR signature #BornToDare campaign reflects both the history of the brand and what it stands for today. Their creator Hans Wilsdorf wanted to create quality timepieces which are able to withstand the most extreme conditions for those with the most daring lifestyles. I have my eyes on the Black Bay Bronze model as well as the Black Bay 58 for my next adventure.
