Colourful, joyful, with a playful spirit of irony – the latest chapter in Max & Co’s &Co.llaboration series sees the Italian fashion brand pair up with artist Pietro Terzini, whose clever phrases on Instagram have captured the public imagination with their insightful commentary on our lives, times and culture. BLABLABLA, as the collection is called, takes style staples like blazers, cardigans, T-shirts, totes and more and enriches them with eye- catching, mood-lifting handwritten mottos, notes and observations to create what Terzini describes as “wearable memes”. It also extends to the home with blankets and a vase.

Good sports

Just in time for the Paris 2024 Olympics, French luxury ready-to-wear brand Sandro is celebrating the “sporty spirit” and French style with a new capsule collection dedicated to sportswear. The curated selection of essential pieces, including a crewneck sweatshirt, T-shirt, sports shorts, striped socks and the tricolour signature Flame sneakers, was created for women but can also be worn by men with the size range of the navy sweatshirt extended up to XXL. Athletes and spectators alike can share their support for the Olympics host country with the T-shirt, sweatshirt and shorts, all emblazoned with “France” in big letters.

A tribute to going places as well as creative director Matthieu Blazy’s concept of craft in motion, Parachute is the latest expression of Bottega Veneta’s signature Intrecciato technique. The structural yet clean bag is inspired by an archival tote of the same name, and is crafted from a single Intrecciato paper calf leather panel folded and left unlined to admire the beauty of the craftsmanship from inside out. Available in large and small sizes, the latter with a detachable cross-body strap, the Parachute also features an iconic knot brass hook. Choose from Fondant, Sea Salt and Green Oasis in small, or Fondant and New Sauge in large.

Spanning 80 million years of history and hundreds of objects from old master drawings to Korean contemporary crafts, Sotheby’s newly opened Maison at Landmark Chater is poised to redefine art and luxury in Hong Kong. The two-storey, 24,000 sq ft space, accessible from a street-level entrance and open to all, was designed in collaboration with Rotterdam-based architectural firm MVRDV to expand visitors’ curiosity and imagination. It houses the unique retail experience Sotheby’s Salon, with over 200 objects available for immediate purchase, as well as three extraordinary spaces that will host museum-quality exhibitions.

Leave it to French cosmetics house Nars, creator of the iconic Orgasm blush, to shake up the world of lipstick. Offered in 28 shades with names like Unauthorised, Body Heat and Dirty Talk, Explicit delivers long-lasting comfort in a high-end dimensional satin finish with a vibrant, pure-colour payoff and creamy, smudge-resistant wear. Its new precision-tip bullet defines and contours while a Luxe Comfort Complex smooths and locks in moisture. “Lipstick has always been about confidence for me,” says brand founder and creative director François Nars. “Here’s to 30 years of character-building colour, and the Explicit content that’s still to come.”
