This month, #legend is #obsessed with the latest from Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Rosewood Hong Kong, The North Face, and Byredo
Bleu zone

Described as “magnetism on the skin”, the new Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif – showcased in a campaign starring Timothée Chalamet – pushes the boundaries of masculinity with a remarkably potent amber-woody trail. The latest creation by Chanel perfumer creator Olivier Polge features majestic sandalwood paired with leathery and resinous notes of cistus labdanum that reveal the more mysterious and enchanting aspects of the fragrance. Even the bottle asserts its intensity with radical, taut lines making a perfect square and capturing the essence of infinity. The colour, meanwhile, is “too blue to be black but too black to be blue”.
A thing of beauty

Redefining beauty as a lifestyle, an experience and a dedicated art form, Louis Vuitton has teamed up with legendary make-up artist Dame Pat McGrath for its inaugural make-up collection. Every detail of La Beauté – which debuted last month with lipsticks, balms and eyeshadows – has been scrutinised and perfected. The result is a collection of exquisitely crafted products that are designed to be held, treasured and worn. “True luxury is when every detail is considered –from the way the pigment melts into the skin to the way a lipstick feels in your hand,” McGrath says. “It’s the fusion of artistry and technology, of heritage and innovation.”
Flight of fancy

Adding to its Time Objects collection of table clocks that fuse form and function with whimsical ingenuity– which includes the Tiffany Taxi clock inspired by a 1950s New York City taxicab – Tiffany & Co. has unveiled a high-end evolution of its previous aviation-inspired clock. The Tiffany Airways Diamond Edition incorporates 511 round brilliant diamonds totaling 4.5 total carats and a manually wound mechanical movement that offers an eight-day power reserve. Hours and minutes are displayed on stainless steel disks at the plane’s nose, with the cockpit’s cage culminating in an arrow-shaped display that points to the current time.
Tea for two

The butterfly room at Rosewood Hong Kong is bringing together two renowned pastry chefs this month for a unique celebration of local summer fruit, seasonal ingredients and beloved Hong Kong flavours. A collaboration between the hotel’s executive pastry chef Jonathan Soukdeo and guest chef Mandy Siu of Finesse Patisserie, the reimagined six-course afternoon tea is available on September 5 and 6. It begins with a selection of savoury amuse- bouches and finger sandwiches followed by a refreshing duo of pre-desserts before the plated desserts and, for a grand finale, a choice of treats from the Mignardises Chocolate Trolley.
Urban legends

Showcasing a fresh perspective on its iconic outdoor products, The North Face has joined forces with New York City–based fashion and lifestyle brand Aimé Leon Dore for a limited-edition collaboration. The collection, which launches this month, infuses The North Face’s dedication to crafting exceptional outdoor products and celebrating exploration with Aimé Leon Dore’s renowned storytelling, which is deeply rooted in heritage and community connection. It features silhouettes such as the classic Nupste jacket, which has been re- interpreted in Casentino wool, as well as the Denali jacket reimagined in all nylon.
At the Copa

Marking a new olfactory chapter for Byredo, Alto Astral is a radiant tribute to the spirited emotional landscape of Brazil. Drawing inspiration from the joyful defiance found in everyday moments – samba at dusk, the rush of beachside wind and the spirit of motorcyclists weaving through the streets of Rio – the scent features top notes of aldehydes and coconut, a heart that brings together jasmine petals, incense and milky musk, and a base of sandalwood, cashmere wood and salted amber. It was composed by longtime perfumer Jérome Epinette and can be seen in a vibrant campaign lensed by Rio-born photographer Rafael Moura.
