#obsessed: Top picks from Chanel, Armani, Prada, and more

This month, #legend is #obsessed with the latest from Chanel, Armani, Prada, Louis Vuitton, 1880 Hong Kong, and Asaya
Black and blue

Twenty-five years after Chanel’s black ceramic J12 revolutionised the watch industry,
the luxury maison is exploring new territory with its J12 Bleu series of blue matte ceramic
and transparent sapphire crystal creations. The new hues, which were made exclusively for watchmaking, reveal their multiple facets with the play of light. “I dreamt of giving a colour to black, of illuminating it with blue. The final choice of this particular blue was like an epiphany,” says Arnaud Chastaingt, director of the Chanel Watchmaking Creation Studio. “I wanted a blue that has a rigorous elegance, a blue that is nearly black or a black that is nearly blue.”
If the shoe fits

Giorgio Armani is ushering in spring/summer the only way he knows how – in laid-back
yet sophisticated style. This season’s selection of men’s shoes distils ease of movement into essential lines and a vision of elegant comfort. The upper gently embraces the foot, while Japanese-inspired geometric lines trace the sole. Available in suede and iconic black mesh, with or without laces, new models come in classic black, white, sand and the brand’s signature greige. Shown above are loafers inspired by Armani’s hallmark deconstructed jackets, with removable insoles and an extremely flexible upper that makes for a versatile, travel-ready look.
Buckle up

Unveiled during prada’s spring/summer show, “Infinite Present”, the new Prada Buckle bucket bag is an evolution of the iconic two-handle bag of the same name – showcasing the Italian fashion house’s expertise in crafting striking, contemporary designs born from the fusion of diametrical elements. In addition to smooth soft-grain leather, highlights of the new bag include the jewel-like belt crafted from flexible golden metallic mesh, the resin buckle with elegant tortoiseshell effect, and the attached strap that allows it to be carried by hand or worn over the shoulder. A bold, masculine, punk-inspired version comes with a studded belt.
Every second counts

As part of its ongoing journey of collaborations with renowned independent watchmakers, Louis Vuitton has launched a second creation with Kari Voutilainen – the Finnish-born watchmaker whose remarkable, handcrafted timepieces have earned him a significant reputation among the collecting community. The new 40.5mm LVKV-02 GMR 6 features a case crafted from pure tantalum with the bezel, back, lugs, crown and strap buckle all adorned in platinum. The gold dial, meanwhile, features an intricately hand-painted hour circle along with references to ancient stained-glass windows and the maison’s famed Monogram flower.
Body and soul

1880 hong kong, the pioneering social hub at Two Taikoo Place, is demonstrating its commitment to holistic well-being with the recent launch of Lost/Found Spa and Quarry Gym. The state-of-the-art unisex facilities are designed to offer members and the public
a personalised approach to integrating wellness into their lifestyles, providing a range of advanced wellness “hardware” – including a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, infrared sauna therapy, a lymphatic drainage suit and invigorating cold plunge services – as well as restorative spa treatments, high-performance cardio equipment and unique personal training packages.
French connection

Urban wellness retreat Asaya, spanning two floors of the iconic Rosewood Hong Kong, is partnering with the equally iconic Parisian beauty brand Guerlain on a range of exclusive spa offerings. Meticulously crafted for the well-being of both body and mind, the treatments are inspired by the vibrant spirit of Hong Kong and the poetic harmony of the city’s traditions. They include Spirit of Calligraphy, a two-hour face and body massage performed with delicate brushes and accompanied by carefully curated music, and Silky Glow, a rejuvenating facial treatment that combines expert massage techniques with the gentle power of silk.
