Louis Vuitton continues its collaboration with the National Basketball Association (NBA). Launched in 2020 under the aegis of Virgil Abloh, the collection is unveiling its third drop this season, inspired by travel
Dedicated to luggage, this new edition continues to celebrate the values of basketball that were cherished by Virgil Abloh and reflected in all the pieces he created for the Maison: an appetite for challenge, team spirit, messages of camaraderie and universality.
What’s in the collection?
The Christopher backpack, iconic Keepall 55, Dopp Kit and Pocket Organizer all feature this season, joined by two exceptional pieces: a case that can store eight watches and the signature Malle Courrier, both dressed in NBA colours for the very first time. All the designs, crafted from Monogram-embossed electric blue Taurillon leather, display a new oversized LV signature in the shape of a basketball that boasts the NBA logo colours.
Here, iconic motifs have been subtly revamped. A basketball net appears on the side of the Keepall, which also features gold chains and metal details as a nod to the famous NBA trophy.

The essence of basketball, a legendary sport that emanates contagious and inspiring energy, has never been more accurately captured than in this iconic range of Louis Vuitton luggage. In keeping with the original spirit of the LV x NBA line, the pieces are as recognisable as they are sought-after and reinvent all the season’s silhouettes.
Louis Vuitton has created an exceptional new Official Travel Trunk for the NBA’s Larry O’Brien Trophy, the pinnacle of basketball achievement. To protect this newly created trophy in style, the artisans at Louis Vuitton’s legendary Asnières atelier, just outside Paris, carefully hand-crafted a brand-new Louis Vuitton Travel Trunk for the NBA’s redesigned Larry O’Brien Trophy.
The 2022 NBA Trophy Case is another landmark in Louis Vuitton’s long history of creating bespoke travel cases for the world’s most iconic trophies, including the FIFA World Cup, the Rugby World Cup 2023, the Davis Cup, and the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco. It is proof that today, more than ever, “Victory travels in Louis Vuitton”.
