“I’m super excited to launch new cocktails and festive items at my restaurant Barkada and we always deck it out for Christmas by the end of November! I’m also planning to check out M+ museum for their new immersive and interactive exhibition highlighting a variety of women artists. And with the cooler weather, it’s my favourite time of year for hiking up to the Peak. There are so many new restaurants and cafes to check out there, including Bakehouse, La Vache, Halfway Coffee and Silk.”

“November is one of my favourite months for food because it’s hairy crab season and restaurants get creative, incorporating this delicacy into all kinds of dishes. I’ve already booked a visit to The Merchants at Forty-Five for their seasonal hairy crab journey. I’m excited to see how the Taihu Lake hairy crab stars in xiao long bao, noodles, clay pot rice and more. Aside from that, one of my favourite spots in Hong Kong is Peng Chau, a small island that used to be a fishing village, and a place filled with beautiful nature and local culture. I like to start the day with dim sum at Hoi King Seafood Restaurant, where you can peek under the bamboo baskets to see what’s steaming. Then stop by Hoho Kitchen for their pineapple bun ice cream before wandering the island, exploring the streets and finishing the day at one of its secluded beaches. ”

“I recently tried out a Korean-style photobooth with my friend, which was super cool. It was a cute weekend girls date activity, and it’s called Photo Lab +. I’m also looking forward to trying out a new restaurant called Siü Siü, opened by the owner of Censu. ”
