Kent & Curwen unveiled its new AW19 Collection on January 6 at London Men’s Fashion Week, alongside a capsule collection that was inspired by the hit TV series Peaky Blinders. The show was attended by my VIP guests, including the brand’s co-owner and #legend’s former cover star David Beckham, accompanied by his wife Victoria Beckham, and his eldest son Brooklyn Beckham.

Inspired by a rare photograph of Kent & Curwen’s founder Eric Kent dressed in a military uniform after the end of WW1, the main collection includes looks that depict the idea of formal British dress codes with a military twist. Displayed with a new attitude, it also showcases a relaxed, modern wardrobe with a blend of tailored and sportswear pieces. Taking influence from Eric’s impeccable style and high social status, Creative Director David Kearns reimagined the brand’s typical collegiate stripes, chunky knits and striped rugby shirts to suit the contemporary fashion scene.

The capsule collection, on the other hand, consisted of wardrobe essentials inspired by the TV series Peaky Blinders. Staple pieces included classic three-piece tweed suits, signature collarless shirts, peg-leg wool trousers and flat caps. Let your Tommy Shelby fantasies come to life!
