Jo Malone London opens Hong Kong’s first home concept store

Luxurious lifestyle brand Jo Malone London is renowned for creating unique iconic fragrances like Lime Basil & Mandarin and English Pear & Freesia – and now their newest store in Hong Kong is a true one-of-a-kind too.

Located in IFC, it’s the very first Jo Malone London home concept store in the region – making it the perfect place for customers to come explore this quintessentially English brand’s range of signature colognes, candles and home fragrances.

Designed to bring Jo Malone London’s British heritage to life, the new boutique is inspired by elements of the brand’s flagship London store, which is famously housed in a four-floor Grade II-listed Georgian townhouse. While Central’s IFC mall might not have quite the same level of vintage charm, there are plenty of lovely immersive design features to bask in – including a striking floral installation created exclusively for the store by Ellermann, a cosy seating area for fragrance consultations complete with ombre-hued chairs upholstered by artist Martyn Thompson, and even a faux fireplace filled with Jo Malone London candles.

It’s the ideal setting to come discover the brand’s recently launched Townhouse Candle Collection, crafted from bespoke wax blends that are hand-poured into beautifully elegant ceramic jars, all inspired by Georgian architectural details. The collection comprises six highly-distinctive scents, each created to evoke different areas and moods of a home; our top picks are the richly verdant Green Tomato Vine and the upliftingly warm Fresh Fig & Cassis. 

Meanwhile, the store’s focal Lifestyle Wall showcases the brand’s stunning collection of home products – including their new “Up The Garden Path” range of candle accessories, which is available exclusively in Hong Kong at the IFC boutique. A collaboration with acclaimed set designer Shona Heath, the range features four limited-edition ceramic pieces inspired by a magical English country garden, such as a rainbow-hued zebra diffuser cover and a whimsical flower-girl candle holder. Personalisation options for Jo Malone London colognes, including colourful ribbons and bespoke charms, are also currently exclusive in Hong Kong to the IFC store.
