Jaime Cheung is a well-loved indie singer-songwriter, best known for her Based On True Stories reels, where she would compose a song around notes and themes people give her randomly. The 27-year-old artist always surprises people with her musicality and creativity to produce incredible music. She debuted with a laid-back single “fallen 4 u” in 2022 and the next year, she joined the girl band Beanies. Other than composing songs for her group, she has also written hits for other artists such as Nancy Kwai’s emotive break-up single “You took my breath away”. Extending her iconic Based On True Stories series, she has announced her first eponymous concert and album.
