Feb 15, 2025

Over 260 guests gathered at the annual Cancer Fund Gala dinner, aptly on the day symbolic for love and support

The Hong Kong Cancer Fund hosted its annual “Party for a Purpose” on Valentine’s Day, bringing together over 260 attendees, including the city's key opinion leaders, influencers and supporters, to raise funds for its free cancer care services. The event, themed “L’Amour”, took place at Cloud 39, The Henderson, and aimed to spread love and care to those affected by cancer.

Sally Lo, founder and chief executive of the Hong Kong Cancer Fund, emphasised the importance of the evening, “With the generosity of our guests and supporters, tonight’s event is helping us continue to provide seamless free professional support so that no one faces cancer alone.”

The gala featured a fundraising auction showcasing unique items such as jewellery from Chopard, a Louis Vuitton handbag, a whisky cask from Cask Master, and artwork by renowned artists Frog King, Stanley Wong, and Kevin Fung. Entertainment from international performers added to the evening’s atmosphere.

The Hong Kong Cancer Fund is the city’s largest cancer support organisation. Established in 1987, it provides free services ranging from public education to home care and complementary therapies. The organisation relies entirely on public donations to sustain its work.
