Google reveals Hong Kong's most searched for keywords in 2024 by category

With the Olympics and US elections happening this year, Hong Kongers have been using Google to stay on top of things. As a result, it's no surprise that the Fragrant Harbour's Olympian heroes and #legend100 members like Vivian Kong, Edgar Cheung and Siobhán Haughey have made strong appearances on searches.  

Taylor Swift and Coldplay were popular searches under global celebrities by netizens of the 852, while the hallyu wave stayed strong with plenty of Google searches for girl group Illit as well as actors Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won.
