June is the month of pride, and a number of brands have splashed out the rainbow in solidarity, showing their support for the LGBT community. Here are our favourites.
Stonewall x Absolut LGBT Pride Campaign
Shake things up with a series of newly designed bottles from the vodka giant, Absolut, dressed once again the colours of the pride flag – an exciting partnership among Absolut and twenty artists including fashion designer Gareth Pugh, celebrity milliner Piers Atkinson, DJ Princess Julia and artist James Davison. These designs will be auctioned through Givergy, with a percentage of sales proceeding to the LGBT charity Stonewall, aiming to encourage and empower the people of the LGBT community. Auctions for the Stonewall x Absolut LGBT Pride Campaign close this weekend during Pride Weekend in London.
Adidas Pride Pack
In celebration of LGBT Pride Month, Adidas teamed up with Stonewall to collaborate on their Pride Pack collection. The collection consists of a rainbow paint-splattered Superstar, and a more tone-downed Stan Smith, along with matching T-shirts and pants. Adidas has also recently released #OrlandoUnited T-shirts as a tribute to Orlando victims with all profits benefitting the OneOrlando Fund.
Nike Be True
Nike has done it again with their fifth launch of the BETRUE collection, a representation of the LGBT community’s convictions and efforts to bring the community of sportsmen together, fostering growth and collaborative innovation, celebrating sports as a universal language. All proceeds are donated to the brand’s LGBT Sports Coalition program in hopes to rid sport of discrimination and stereotypes.
Coca Cola x Tegan and Sara Gay Pride Month powered by Tegan and Sara
Drop the beat with Youtube sensations Tegan and Sara for Coca Cola’s newest Spotify playlist titled Gay Pride Month powered by Tegan and Sara. The twin sisters are both openly gay and active members of the LGBT community, and their exclusive collaboration with Coca Cola’s music team brings new prospects and opportunities for LGBT equality. Seems like things do go better with Coke.
Levi’s Pride 2016
Levi’s pays tribute to the late Harvey Milk, one of the first openly gay government officials and leading human rights activists, with a collection of T-shirts, classically chic bandana and denim wear they are most famous for. Their Pride 2016 collection is embellished with the iconic Harvey Milk patchwork or the rainbow batwing. A portion of proceeds benefitting the Harvey Milk Foundation, spreading Milk’s message for equality among all people.
