Van Cleef & Arpels unveils Flowerlace and Fleurs d’Hawaï– two radiant new collections in its ever-blooming garden
For over a century, Van Cleef & Arpels has drawn inspiration from the vitality of nature, capturing the ephemeral beauty of flowers in creations that fuse artistry with technical mastery. This season, the maison enriches its dreamlike garden with two luminous new collections – Flowerlace and Fleurs d’Hawaï – each highlighting its distinct savoir-faire and stone expertise.

Combining the beauty of sunlit petals and the fluidity of a ribbon, the Flowerlace collection reimagines a corolla in airy openwork, marrying the radiance of yellow gold with the sparkle of diamonds. Each petal is gently curved to create a sense of volume, while a subtly asymmetrical diamond-set pistil captures the idea of nature in motion.

The five Flowerlace creations – including a ring, Between the Finger ring, earrings, pendant and transformable clip pendant – are crafted using the ancestral technique of lost-wax casting in which each element of the motif is sculpted in wax before being fired, shaped, set and polished. The collection pays tribute to Van Cleef & Arpels’ couture heritage, echoing the maison’s iconic Silhouette clips of the late 1930s, as well as its eponymous high jewellery collection that presents a dialogue between white gold and diamonds on pieces imbued with ethereal elegance.

While Flowerlace radiates with the sparkle of white diamonds, Fleurs d’Hawaï dazzles with an array of coloured gemstones. Inspired by lush, sun-drenched gardens, these earrings, rings and pendants pair generously proportioned petals with diamond pistils and golden leaves. Five varieties of fine stones create a colour palette that bursts with vitality: citrine with its joyous orangey-yellow light, amethyst with its purple tones, rhodolite with its deep pink, aquamarine with its crystalline luminosity and peridot with its vibrant spring-like green.

Van Cleef & Arpels’ Stone Department carefully selects each gemstone according to themaison’s criteria of excellence and taste. The expert gemmologists strive for intensity and uniformity of colour as well as purity of material to ensure each precious corolla is perfectly homogenous in hue. The openwork gold mount allows light to travel through the pear-cut stones, enhancing their colour, while hand-finished prong settings, delicate golden beads and a discreetly curved golden leaf add volume and depth. The result is a blossom that appears to be lifted by the breeze.

The Fleurs d’Hawaï collection also features three dazzling secret watches. Concealing their mother-of-pearl dials behind a jeweled corolla, these transformable timepieces can be worn as a bracelet, pendant or clip, reflecting the maison’s long-standing passion for versatility – a heritage that dates back to its ingenious by the iconic Passe- Partout in 1938 creations featuring generous floral motifs on a gold Tubogas chain that could be set in different positions or removed to be worn as a clip.

From the earliest Daisy brooch of 1907 to the Rose de Noël and Frivole collections, Van Cleef & Arpels has cultivated a truly distinctive approach to transposing the grace of flowers into jewellery and watchmaking creations. Flowerlace and Fleurs d’Hawaï carry this legacy forward, uniting the maison’s love of nature, couture and transformable design in two distinct yet harmonious expressions.
