In a nod to the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris, Omega unveiled a striking new Seamaster Diver 300M watch in 2023 and a new Speedmaster Chronoscope this year

Last year, luxury watchmaker Omega launched a new timepiece to mark one year to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in which they are the Official Timekeeper.

With the world’s largest sporting event around the corner, we look back at the Seamaster Diver 300M “Paris 2024” Special Edition, which was crafted as an exclusive tribute to the Games while celebrating the brand’s 31st time as Official Timekeeper since 1932.

Crafted from stainless steel and the brand’s proprietary 18K Moonshine Gold alloy, the 42mm timepiece features a laser-engraved white ceramic dial, a diving bezel with a luminous dot, and a commemorative caseback. The watch can be paired with various straps, including a stainless steel bracelet and quick-change rubber or NATO options.

Powered by Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8800 movement, this limited-edition piece promises the brand’s signature precision and performance as the Official Timekeeper of the 2024 Games, continuing a legacy of sports timekeeping excellence over nine decades.

At the same time, in a gift that keeps giving, the master watchmaker launched yet another new timepiece: the Speedmaster Chronoscope – to mark 100 days until the opening ceremony. Featuring four models offered in the iconic gold, black, and white colourway of the Paris 2024 Olympics, this new celebratory timepiece with standout details includes silvery white opaline dials adorned with 1940s-inspired “snail” timing scales.

It also comes with Moonshine Gold accents, a striking commemorative caseback, and Omega’s renowned Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9908/9909 delivering impeccable accuracy and performance.
