Happy Valley Racecourse returns with an exhilarating Happy Wednesday Season Opening Event celebration

Last Wednesday, together with #legend, Happy Valley Racecourse invited an exciting lineup of guests to the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) Happy Wednesday Season Opening Event.

Starting at the Beer Garden, guests have a clear view of the night’s performances, including a Hip Hop Lion Dance, musical acts, and live music by Azucar Carnivale.

Themed “The Greatest Show in Town”, people have flocked to celebrate this highly anticipated Season Opening with much fanfare.

After all the excitement outdoors, the Season Opening Event party continued indoors at Adrenaline. The party sees singer and #legend digital cover star Kiri T perform two of her songs while DJ Natalie Dunn sets the tone for the entire evening. Illusionist Jeff Teo entertained guests with an amazing array of magic tricks.

Another special act was delivered by hand balancer Ping Nam Ng and contortionist Yonex Ho in a duo performance.

The themed Happy Wednesdays will continue for two more Wednesdays in September.

Set to kick off tomorrow, September 20 delivers an exciting set of live acts and breathtaking performances by jugglers and acrobats with local band OnPoint providing the musical accompaniment for the evening. Visitors can also enjoy free admission to Happy Valley Racecourse’s Public Enclosure on this day until December. This is part of HKJC’s initiatives to support the Hong Kong government’s effort to bolster the city’s nightlife for residents and tourists.

Come September 27, the Mid-Autumn Festival special that ends the Opening Season will feature an exquisite Chinese fan dance and rocking live music by Jordan Road that will get you on your feet.
