Royal Salute, the blended Scotch whisky brand originally conceived in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II on the day of her coronation, is celebrating its ongoing partnership with world-renowned British fashion designer Richard Quinn with a chic and colourful pop-up at K11 Musea
The Blossoming Realm, an immersive experience, opened to the public on January 14 until February 7. This colourful happening aims to transport visitors to a new realm where two iconic brands, Royal Salute and Richard Quinn, seamlessly merge.
Additionally, as part of this momentous occasion, a limited edition of 2,000 bottles of the Royal Salute 21 Year Old Richard Quinn Edition II will be exclusively launched in Hong Kong.
Furthermore, as its timing coincides with the Chinese New Year celebration, the pop-up has unveiled a Lunar New Year limited edition of Royal Salute’s 21 Year Old Signature Blend. For this special edition, the whisky brand collaborates with award-winning illustrator Yunshu Li.
Richard Quinn’s floral expression
The Royal Salute 21 Year Old Richard Quinn Edition II is the second collaboration with the esteemed British designer. This edition showcases Quinn’s love for traditional floral patterns mixed with a touch of daring modernity on its flagons. The design is inspired by the unrivalled expertise of Royal Salute Master Blender Sandy Hyslop, who is celebrated for his ability to push boundaries and innovate within the realm of crafting exceptional Scotch whisky.
The Scotch whisky is carefully hand-picked from distinguished distilleries such as Braeval, renowned for being one of Scotland’s highest distilleries, as well as Strathisla and Caperdonich, each whisky has been patiently matured for a minimum of 21 years.
The result is an extraordinary bespoke blend that unfolds with luscious fruity notes, elevated by subtle hints of spice and delicate wisps of smoke. This exquisite combination imparts a unique twist to the whisky, rendering it impeccably balanced and luxuriously opulent.
