The announcement of Delamain's L'Édition Rare du Bicentenaire is nothing short of exhilarating for fine spirits enthusiasts. Celebrating 200 years of exceptional craftsmanship, this limited-edition cognac promises to be a remarkable addition to any discerning collector's repertoire when it goes on auction in November
Delamain, a name synonymous with Grande Champagne cognac since its founding in 1824, is unveiling a truly unique offering: a 10-litre dame-jeanne crafted by the esteemed Maison Goossens. This exquisite piece is not just a container; it is a work of art that encapsulates the rich history and tradition of cognac-making. The auction, which will be facilitated by Bonhams, is set to take place online from 19 November to 6 December 2024, and will allow enthusiasts to bid on this extraordinary item, estimated between €100,000 and €200,000.
The dame-jeanne will be accompanied by a 70 cl bottle of the same blend and a pipette for serving. Perhaps most enticingly, the winning bidder will also receive an invitation for a two-day immersive experience in Jarnac, where they can delve deeper into the world of Delamain’s craftsmanship alongside three guests.

What makes this release particularly special is the blend itself. L'Édition Rare du Bicentenaire comprises five rare eaux-de-vie, each selected with care by generations of the Delamain family and blended by the last two Cellar Masters.
