Henry Jacques: Clic-Clac brings solid perfumes to life

Henry Jacques breathes new life into the ancient art of solid perfume with the revolutionary Clic-Clac

Ever since Henry Cremona set out to create a perfume house steeped in his family’s culture, a taste for absolute refinement, and an obsession with rarity and perfection, Maison Henry Jacques has never ceased to push the boundaries of French haute parfumerie through innovation and creation with an element of surprise.

After spending decades dedicated solely to the creation of bespoke fragrances, Henry Jacques opened its realm to the public and began offering such iconic collections as Les Classiques with its 50 historic perfumes available in essence and mist form. But it didn’t stop there. Its next step was to complete the unprecedented Henry Jacques trilogy with the introduction of a solid perfume composition, which is similar to a balm.

By reviving the gesture of applying solid perfume, the maison was met with two challenges: to maintain the integrity of the original fragrances from its 50 Les Classiques, and to create an accessory that is both a fascinating everyday object and the perfect lucky charm. Available in precious avant- garde materials such as titanium, carbon and rose gold, Clic-Clac succeeded on both fronts and now houses all 50 Les Classiques scents in the form of interchangeable solid perfume capsules.

“The creation of this object quickly transported us and overwhelmed us, surpassing all our expectations. Addictive for us, and fascinating for others, the Clic-Clac responds to the need of an era and a generation – a powerful response to something clearly lacking today,” says Anne-Lise Cremona, CEO of Henry Jacques.

Besides being the smallest and most precious of solid perfume accessories, the Clic-Clac is also a brilliant example of immense technical know-how. To ensure it would withstand the wear of daily handling, Henry Jacques turned to Swiss watchmaking expertise – the only discipline capable of offering an opening mechanism of foolproof precision for life. Over four years of development, the Clic-Clac reached the height of its patented engineering perfection and was ready to be unveiled to the world.

With the purpose of reintroducing a mark of allure into our daily lives, Clic-Clac serves as a companion item that gives its owner an elegant air of poise and nonchalance. It is also a symbol of distinction and a mark of luxury and contemporary living in tune with both social and intimate rituals. The cult object, which over time will take on the aura of its owner, is sure to become the ultimate talisman, holding collections of intimate memories, stories and emotions that one will be eager and proud to pass down.
